Accurate, easy-to-use, safe and durable. Baths feature an easy-to-set proportional temperature microprocessor controller, linked push-button keypad and easy-to-read LED display. Back-up controller maintains bath temperatures even if the main circuit fails. Fully insulated for excellent heat recovery and retention. Double-wall construction includes a unique air-jacket design that surrounds the chamber evenly with heated air. Recessed heating element prevents burnout if water completely evaporates. Low wattage heating element ensures optimum element life and reliable temperature control. Stainless steel and polymer-coated reservoir tanks are available. Capacities are given for bath filled within 2.54cm (1") of top. Exterior housings have an electrostatic powder paint finish for corrosion resistance and chip resistance. Temperature range: 5°C above ambient to 99.9°C. Units can achieve maximum temperature only when chamber is covered with supplied gable cover. Uniformity: ±0.2°C at 37°C.
CSA approved. NSF approved tank. NOTE: Only distilled water and plastic racks are recommended for use with these water baths.
Ordering Information: Supplied complete with power cord with grounded plug. All baths except dual chamber baths are supplied with one stainless steel gable cover. Models 1255 and 1255PC dual-chamber baths are supplied with two stainless steel gable covers with independent controls and thermostats for each chamber. Replacement stainless steel gable covers, optional polycarbonate gable covers and thermometers are sold separately.
