These unstirred water baths are ideal for general lab and research applications. Samples are immersed into the bath, and experiments are easy to set-up and reproduce. Seamless stainless steel chambers minimize risk of contamination, and recessed control panel protects controls from spillage or accidental alteration. Features include PID controller, digital setting and display using integrated microprocessor control, resettable adjustable over-temperature cutout for safety, and an “end on” design that minimizes bench clutter. Includes diffuser tray and shelf. Baths must be used with a cover or a layer of polypropylene spheres when operated at 60°C or above. Designed for use with bath 66238-403, optional flat lid with holes (66238-440) minimizes evaporation and heat loss and accomodates tall flasks. Lids include ring sets for alternative hole diameters of 3, 43, 59, and 78mm. Optional gable lids direct condensate away from vessels in bath, and help to reduce evaporation and avoid contamination of samples.
