Bottom receivers are made of polystyrene with a cellulose nitrate membrane. Upper intake portion is made of polypropylene. Following filtration, the upper intake unit can be removed and seprated from the lower receiver.
Lower portion is graduated from 20 to 115mL. Membranes are triton-free and nontoxic. Diameter: 47mm. Units can be used to perform pressure filtrations. The 0.45µm size meets requirements for APHA Standard Methods and U.S. EPA water quality testing.
